Verified ReviewerNo apartment delivery
I live at Freedom Plaza in Peoria. It is an independent living apartment complex of senior residents age 62 and up.
There are approx 350 units and the building is 7 stories high. Many residents are subscribers to the Arizona Republic, NY Times, etc.
All newspapers for our building are dropped in bulk at the front desk. There is no independent delivery to our apartments. Yet each Christmas our "newspaper carrier" inserts a Christmas card which is addressed to him--probably for cash rather than well wishes.
Until recently, a very gracious resident was bringing these papers to our apartments.
They can no longer do this. Our early morning staff must stuff these newspapers into our small mail boxes in our post office on the first floor.
Then each resident must go there to pick up his paper. This is very inconvenient for the residents and time consuming for our staff who get no reward from your paper for their labor.
We pay the same price for our papers as subscribers who live in private homes; we wish to have the same delivery format that they do,.
This bulk delivery drop is unacceptable and many of us are considering going on line only to get our news.

Verified ReviewerMissing and or late delivery
The service of our carrier has been nothing but terrible for the last six months or longer. We have had four missing issues in the last two weeks, and many issues have arrived no earlier than 10:30 to 11:00.
This is supposed to be a morning paper not an afternoon paper. There is no one to call to get a replacement, the number for service complaints has no one answering in person, and the last time I spoke to customer service they werent willing to adjust the billing by the amount I spent going to the store for a replacement. You constantly raise the rates for the paper but dont offer any customer service. The quality of the paper that you use has gone downhill since you sent notice of that several years ago.
Enough *** See if you can rectify the problems. Thank you, Dwight Tisdel

Verified Reviewer |Hospital Abuse of my brother.
katietisch521@***.com or
johnsiepkes22@***.com This is what my brother John went through at this hospital. The cowards who work at this hospital have yet to return my phone calls or emails.
Particularly the nurses, who snickered when I spoke to them about this: I would like to submit a complaint about the doctors and l at the emergency rooms at Saint Josephs Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona, and the John C. Lincoln Memorial Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona. In December of 2022, I was physically abused by these workers; they also talked openly and publicly about my medical records and stole cash ($100.00) out of the container where my belongings were kept. I was also physically forced to remove my shirt and lay on a wooden board and told to close my eyes and place my hands together on top of my forehead.
I was then told to remain in this position for three minutes in the MRI machine. When handing my clothing back to me before I was discharged, several items were placed in my pockets that did not belong to me. They also kept putting a wheelchair with straps across the front of it in my line of vision and giggling. One of the doctors was Wendy Pitts.
The nurses also stated we found a way to get rid of you once and for all. I was told by one of the workers in the emergency room that this was done because I had complained about the nurses. This occurred in December of 2022. My health has only declined since then.
How and where do I report nurses and doctors for gas-lighting, physically and emotionally abusing, stealing from, and misdiagnosing my symptoms? Also, for violating the national privacy laws and for stereotyping me as soon as I was under their care.
My brother was turned away from the emergency room at Scottsdale and Osborn. He was also mocked by Nurse Morgan and Nurse Kate. Doctor Emmanuel Edwards put false information in his medical records, which has caused him further problems.
The nurse and doctors at this hospital also were 200 percent wrong when they stereotyped him.
This is what my brother went through. His health has only declined since then: The nurses, doctors, and workers at the front desk in the emergency room stereotyped me, gave me the wrong medical advice, and accused me of lying about my symptoms. They did this even after I provided medical documents that what I said to them was accurate. Julie, who does the CAT scans, yanked my belt after I got done telling her I had stomach pain.
A male nurse squeezed my arm, which was already sore, and said I had a bad attitude. The women who checked my vitals openly cracked jokes about the chest pain I was having and the workers at the front desk waved me away as soon as I walked up to the window to explain why I was there. Nurse Morgan and Nurse Kate, as well as the nurses who loiter at the nurse's station (and don't realize that patients can hear every word they're saying), began interjecting the their opinions while I was waiting for the doctor, stating that my symptoms were all in my head.
Dr. Emmanuel Edwards deliberately put false information in my medical records.
My health has only declined since going to this emergency room.
Nurse Lisa Ann, Nurse Darcy, and the nurse with the blonde hair and tattoos on her arms talked openly and publicly about my medical records as well as those of other patients.

Verified ReviewerNo paper and very, very poor or no customer service
On Sunday, July 23rd we did not receive the Sunday paper. I called the customer service number around 10:30 AM and of course reached an automated service.
I went through the very tedious routine indicating that I did not receive the paper and was advised that this paper would be delivered in a few hours. We did not receive this paper and thus needed to buy our own, which cost was $4.88 including tax (I attached a receipt to the e-mail to the Arizona Republic). I did not even include the estimated total price of gas to obtain this paper.
The additional concern here is that the Sunday paper had a puzzle/game section for subscribers which I of course I did not receive.
On Tuesday, 7/25/23 I did The Republic's chat on line which was wholly unhelpful. I was given a numbers for customer complaints which is, to say the least, extremely annoying and total unhelpful, since this was the automated service again and the questions to answer were totally unsuitable for what my concerns were at this point and still are.
If the answers are not given per the programmed answering service it disconnects the call.
In my e-mail to the paper I requested the following:
1. To be reimbursed for the $4.88 that was spent buying a newspaper (copy of receipt was attached to the e-mail).
2. To get a credit for last Sunday's paper since this was not delivered.
3. That the puzzle/games section from last Sundays paper (7/23/23) would be delivered/send to me without delay.
4.
That one of your customer service people call me with an apology for the effort and frustration I went through trying to get the paper, trying to reach a customer service representative, and developing the e-mail.
5. That the paper set up a system for customers to reach a real life person who can help with complaints which cannot be made and processed through the so very defective and irritating answering system.
I have been a subscriber this paper since January 2013 and certainly do not accept or excuse their very poor customer service system. If I would have a choice of another paper I would certainly start subscribing to that paper and not to the Republic anymore. I am not certain that this paper realizes that when they have no subscribers that they do not have a paper.
I would think this to be an impetus for them to highly improve their customer service which currently is sorely lacking.
I followed up with another e-mail to the newspaper on 07/17/23 and they still have not had the decency to acknowledge my complaint. The silence from their side is deafening!!!
